Ather cuts prices on Rizta S, 450S till March 31: Here’s by how much
Ather Energy has introduced temporary price reductions and promotional benefits on the Ather Rizta S and Ather 450S, with the revised pricing valid across Ather Experience Centres in India until March 31, 2026. Following the revision, the Rizta S is priced at around Rs 1.05 lakh, while the 450S starts at about Rs 1.13 lakh (ex-showroom). The Rizta S is now affordable by roughly Rs 10,000, and the 450S by about Rs 7,000. The change applies only to these base variants, while prices of other models in the lineup remain unchanged.
Along with the price cuts, the company is offering benefits of up to Rs 20,000 for a limited period. These include a Rs 10,000 credit card discount, a Rs 6,500 cash discount and an extended components warranty worth Rs 3,500 provided at no extra cost. Buyers purchasing the scooters this month can also avail of the subsidy under the PM E-Drive Scheme, which offers Rs 5,000 support for electric two-wheelers. The programme was introduced in late 2024 by the Ministry of Heavy Industries with a total allocation of Rs 10,900 crore and is set to end on March 31, 2026. Customers purchasing the Rizta S or 450S before the end of the month can combine the government subsidy with the company’s promotional offers.
Talking about the scooters, the Rizta S gets a 3.7kWh battery pack with 159 km IDC range. Features include a 7-inch DeepView display with features like turn-by-turn navigation, Auto Hold, Fall Safe, and Emergency Stop Signal. It offers 34 litres of underseat storage, a 22-litre front storage unit and a large, flat seat.
The scooter is also covered under Ather’s 8-year or 80,000 km battery warranty, which ensures a minimum battery health of 70% during the ownership period. It uses a telescopic fork at the front and a single shock absorber at the rear. Braking duties are taken care of by a 200 mm disc at the front and a 130 mm drum at the rear with a combined braking system. The scooter is also covered under Ather’s 8-year or 80,000 km battery warranty, which ensures a minimum battery health of 70% during the ownership period.
