2026 Mini Convertible JCW bookings open: 0-100 in 6.9 seconds!
Mini India has announced that it has started accepting bookings for the new 2026 Mini Cooper Convertible JCW Pack. Interested customers can book the car by visiting their nearest Mini dealership and paying a token amount of Rs 1.5 lakh. The launch will take place sometime this month, with deliveries expected to begin in May 2026. The JCW Pack for the Cooper S Convertible focuses on design updates, adding sportier elements to the exterior and interior without altering the mechanical setup. The powertrain, transmission and most features remain unchanged, with the driving experience and equipment list continuing as offered in the standard model. The convertible is expected to be priced above the hard-top JCW Pack variant, which is listed at Rs 55.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
Talking about the powertrain first, the 2026 Mini Cooper Convertible with the JCW Pack is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 204hp and 300Nm, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission driving the front wheels. It is claimed to accelerate from 0 to 100kph in 6.9 seconds. In comparison, this is 0.3 seconds slower than the hard-top version.
The JCW Pack for the 2026 Mini Cooper Convertible introduces two colour options - Legend Grey and Midnight Black, along with a jet-black fabric roof and gloss-black finishes on exterior elements such as the grille, ORVM housings, door handles, wheel arches, side skirts and bumpers. The update also includes 17-inch JCW alloy wheels in a black finish and JCW-branded sport brakes. Models in Legend Grey additionally receive black bonnet stripes.
Moving inside, the Mini Cooper Convertible with the JCW Pack features a two-tone textile interior, with the dashboard and door panels finished in recycled fabric instead of chrome or leather. It gets black Sport seats with a red stripe on the front headrests and JCW branding, along with a JCW Sport steering wheel with paddle shifters, a suede headliner and JCW badging on the door sills. The feature list includes adaptive dampers, a head-up display, Mini’s connected-car suite, wireless charging, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and a Harman Kardon audio system.
