2026 Kia Syros launched in India: Variant-wise pricing, changes explained
Kia India has launched the 2026 update of the Kia Syros in India. The refreshed model brings some design tweaks, an expanded variant lineup and a wider availability of automatic options. Prices for the updated model now start at Rs 8.39 lakh, ex-showroom. Here’s a quick look at what’s been changed.
With the MY26 update, Kia has added four new trims: HTE, HTE(O), HTK+(O) and HTX(O). One of the key highlights is the increased accessibility of automatic variants, especially on the diesel side. The diesel automatic version is now available from the HTK+ trim onwards, priced at Rs 12,73,900.
In terms of design, the changes include a revised front bumper with body-coloured aero inserts and glossy black skid plates, along with LED fog lamps. At the rear, the bumper has been updated and now includes similar styling elements, along with an LED high-mounted stop lamp. The side now features glossy black roof rails, ORVMs and body-coloured side garnish. Higher trims such as HTX and HTX(O) also get new 17-inch crystal-cut alloy wheels with neon-coloured brake calipers. Kia has also introduced three new colour options: Magma Red, Ivory Silver Matte and Ivory Silver Gloss.
Inside, the Syros continues with a large 30-inch display, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, ventilated front and rear seats, and second-row seats with slide and recline functions. The SUV also packs over 80 connected car features, OTA updates and Kia Connect diagnostics.
Mechanically, the Syros MY26 remains unchanged. It continues to be offered with a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 118 bhp and 172 Nm of torque, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT. The 1.5-litre diesel engine, which develops 114 bhp and 250 Nm, is available with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
