Tata Motors has launched the 2025 iterations of Tiago, Tiago EV and Tigor. The updated Tiago comes with a starting price of Rs 5 lakh, while the top-end variant is priced at Rs 8.20 lakh, ex-showroom. This marks the first major update for the Tiago since its last overhaul in 2020, with the carmaker introducing several new features to enhance its appeal. Both the petrol-powered Tiago and the electric Tiago EV have been updated.

Tata Tiago, Tiago EV: What’s new


The 2025 Tiago updates include a 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Besides, it also features LED headlights, an upgraded digital instrument cluster, and a new twin-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo. Inside, the cabin gets a fresh look with dual-tone seat upholstery and a grey-beige dashboard. As for safety enhancements, the model now comes with electronic stability control.

For the Tiago EV, the updates include a redesigned front grille and 14-inch aerodynamically designed alloy wheels. Furthermore, it also offers EV-specific touches such as badges on the front doors and vibrant colour options like Lime, Blue and more. Inside, it features a leatherette-wrapped steering wheel, a six-way adjustable driver’s seat, and cruise control in top-spec variants.

Mechanically, the Tiago remains unchanged. The petrol version retains its 1.2-litre, three-cylinder engine. The Tiago EV continues to offer two battery pack options: a 19.2 kWh unit and a larger 24 kWh pack.

Tata Tigor: What’s new


Alongside the Tiago and Tiago EV, Tata Motors has also launched the 2025 Tigor with notable feature upgrades across its lineup. Starting at Rs 6 lakh, ex-showroom, for the XM trim, which replaces the discontinued XE variant. The range now tops out with the newly introduced XZ Plus Lux trim priced at Rs 8.50 lakh. The mid-level XZ Plus is priced at Rs 7.90 lakh, reflecting a Rs 10,000 increase, while the CNG lineup sees the addition of the XT base variant at Rs 7.70 lakh and the XZ Plus Lux CNG at Rs 9.50 lakh.

Feature upgrades include a new illuminated smart steering wheel, a fully digital instrument cluster, and ISOFIX child seat anchors from the base trim itself. Higher variants boast a 10.25-inch floating infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 360-degree camera, automatic climate control, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, and leather-wrapped steering. It also gets additional enhancements like LED tail lamps, fabric seat upholstery, and a shark-fin antenna.
