2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire new exterior colour spied: Everything we know so far
Maruti Suzuki India is all set to launch the next-generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire on November 11, 2024. The new Dzire with its generational upgrade features a complete overhaul in its exterior and interior design. Ahead of its launch, the sedan has already started reaching dealerships. And now, the new Dzire has been spotted with a blue colour very similar to Nexa Blue seen in Baleno, Grand Vitara, Fronx and more. Since this is a Maruti Suzuki Arena product, the automaker will likely assign a different name to this colour.
In terms of design, as mentioned previously the sedan features an all-new exterior design with no resemblance to the new Swift or outgoing Dzire. It features a prominent grille at the front, flanked by sleek rectangular LED headlamps. The new Dzire also showcases redesigned fog lamp housing, complemented by a bold gloss black trim that links the headlamps, finished off with a chrome strip at the bottom.
At the rear, it features Y-shaped LED elements in the tail lights, joined by a chrome strip that spans the tailgate. The boot lid has a spoiler-style bulge, and the rear bumper includes distinctive contouring. The top-spec trims will come equipped with 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and also LED taillights with DRLs.
Moving inside, the interior layout will be the same as the new Swift but it will feature a dual-tone dashboard with additional features. Features will include a 9-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, connected car tech, semi-digital cluster, flat bottom steering with wood finish, single-pane electric sunroof, cruise control, 6-airbags, automatic climate control and much more.
Talking about the engine, the new Dzire will be powered by a new Z-series, 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, NA petrol engine with 82 hp power and 112 nm torque. Gearbox options will include a 5-speed manual and an AMT. The CNG variant will be launched later and will only be offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Bookings for the new sedan are expected to begin soon, it continues to compete with Hyundai Aura and Honda Amaze.
