Royal Enfield recently launched its new Himalayan 450 in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 2.69 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 now looks visually different with a new engine and features. Let’s see how it fares against the Triumph Scrambler 400 X and Yezdi Adventure in terms of price and specifications.

At its heart, the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is powered by a new 452 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, generating a peak power of 40 hp and a max torque of 40 Nm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox and gets a slip-and-assist clutch. The new Himalayan 450 produces the highest torque as compared to the Scrambler 400 X and Yezdi Adventure.

Speaking of the Triumph Scrambler 400 X, it uses a 398 cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine which belts out 40 hp power and 37.5 Nm torque, paired to a six-speed gearbox. Whereas the Yezdi Adventure comes equipped with a 334 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, producing 30 hp power and 29.84 Nm torque. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox.

The new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the Triumph Scrambler 400 X share almost the same price, while the Yezdi Adventure with a smaller engine is the most affordable motorcycle among these at a price of Rs 2.19 lakh (ex-showroom).
