The Hero Karizma XMR, on the other hand, comes with a slightly larger 210 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine. The engine produces 25.5 hp at 9,250 rpm and 20.4 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm, also mated to a 6-speed gearbox. On paper, the Karizma offers a marginally higher power and torque output, delivered at lower engine speeds compared to the KTM.

In contrast, the Hero Karizma XMR uses a steel trellis frame. Suspension duties are handled by 37 mm telescopic front forks, while the rear gets a monoshock with six-step preload adjustment.
As for braking, the KTM RC 200 features a 320 mm front disc and a 230 mm rear disc. It comes equipped with dual-channel ABS. The Karizma XMR uses a 300 mm petal disc at the front and a 230 mm petal disc at the rear, supported by dual-channel ABS.
Price-wise, the KTM RC 200 is listed at Rs 2.16 lakh, while the Hero Karizma XMR comes in at Rs 1.85 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom.
