The new Dio H-Smart is available in two variants - standard and deluxe. The more affordable standard variant gets a halogen bulb, analog instrument cluster, black-finished alloy wheels. On the other hand, the top-spec Deluxe variant gets LED headlamp, digital instrument cluster, gold-finished alloy wheels, and 3-step Eco indicator.

The new H-Smart is the most expensive variant of the Dio model and the bookings for this scooter have commenced with deliveries expected to begin soon.

The company has also introduced the OBD-2 compliant variants of the scooter, which is priced Rs 3,500 less than the H-Smart at Rs 74,212, ex-showroom. The standard version with OBD-2 compliance is, on the other hand, priced at Rs 70,211, ex-showroom.

The Honda Dio draws its power from a single-cylinder, 109.51cc, air-cooled mill that generates 7.6 hp and 8.9 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a CVT and as mentioned before, is now OBD2 compliant. The Honda Dio H-Smart rivals the likes of its sibling Honda Activa, Hero Xoom, and TVS Scooty Zest among others.
