These 3 remedies with camphor can help in cleansing the house
Ever wondered why any Arti or Puja is incomplete without burning a camphor? Well, in Hindu shastra and Vedic traditions, Camphor, also known as Kapur is believed to be the most potent purifier that can absorb negativity, balance doshas, cleanse the aura and also bring in positive energy. Here are some expert remedies using camphor that can ward off negativity and bring in positive energy.
According to the books of Vastu Shastra, burning camphor in the evening is believed to remove obstacles, doshas and even ward off ill effects of evil eye. This is because of the volatile essence of camphor that can naturally dispel stagnant vibes, negativity and planetary afflictions caused by the influence of Rahu-Ketu. It is believed that burning camphor every evening brings prosperity and positivity in the house. Apart from that, burning camphor on Saturdays or during Amavasya also helps foster harmony, prosperity, and spiritual clarity in life. Here are some simple remedies you can follow:
To begin with, take a small diya and light a piece of pure camphor in a lamp or thali every evening after the sunset. It works best when you place this diya on the southeast corner of your home.Circumambulate each room clockwise three times, letting the fragrant smoke to neutralize hidden negativities across the house.
Another remedy is simple yet effective, just place two camphor tablets in shallow glass bowls filled with clean water, placing one bowl in the northeast (Ishankone) corner and another near the main entrance. Replace the dissolved camphor and water every three days, disposing of it at a tulsi plant or flowing water body to carry away absorbed doshas.
On Tuesdays or Saturdays, burn 4-5 camphor pieces mixed with 7 whole cloves and a ghee lamp in the puja area, chanting "Om Namah Shivaya" 108 times. Take it across the house for cleansing the aura. It is believed that doing this also helps relieve Pitra Dosha and brings positivity to the house.
