In Hindu matchmaking, Kundali or Guna Milan is more important than matching of the hearts or souls. Nadi (8 points): Biological/physiological compatibility and heredity; most important and sensitive

Together these form a 36-point scale used by astrologers and online kundali-matching tools.
Minimum score required

According to Vedic astrology, a minimum score of 18 out of 36 is taken as an acceptable compatibility. Scores above 18 are considered better.

A score between 18–24 is considered fair/acceptable
A score between 25–32 is considered good
A score between 33–36 is considered excellent

However, these brackets are guidelines rather than solid rules.

Why Nadi matters
Nadi is one of the most important aspects of Kundali Milan. Despite having a good compatibility score on charts, if Nadi scores are not good, it is not considered a compatible match. In some cases, astrologers suggest remedies to overcome the issue.
