Lunar Eclipse 2022 LIVE Updates: The last Chandra Grahan of 2022 has ended in India. The eclipse began at 02:39 PM IST. While, the total eclipse started at 3:46 PM IST. Lunar Eclipse occurs when the sun and moon are on the exact opposite side of the earth. This time people witnessed a total Grahan on Kartik Purnima. In India, only the eastern parts of the country saw the total Lunar Eclipse whereas the rest of the country saw a partial eclipse. Do not carry any sharp objects - scissors, blade, knife etc.
Chandra Grahan is considered inauspicious, people should avoid eating and drinking during this period.
To reduce the harmful effects of Chandra Grahan, one must recite - Hanuman Chalisa and Vishnu Sahastranaam.
People must put Tulsi Patra in all eatables to avoid negative effect of Chandra Grahan.
