Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra was composed by Maharishi Parashara. This is a mysterious astrological text. This was written in the form of Sanskrit shlokas. Planets are governed by Lord Vishnu

According to Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, each planet resonates with Lord Vishnu. The nature of each planet is different and each planet gives you reward and punishment according to your karma under the guidance of Lord Vishnu. Here are the following nine forms of Lord Vishnu and their planetary connection:

1. Sun (Lord Surya) - Lord Rama
2. Moon (Chandrama) - Lord Krishna
3. Mars (Mangal) - Lord Narasimha
