DAARA SHUKOH not SHIKOH should be the name of new road in Delhi
A road is being planned after Dara Shikoh by New Delhi Municipal Corporation, but the name is erroneously spelt as Shiko, which means terror in Persian , instead of Shuko, which means grandeur, glory or splendour.

Dara Shukoh, brother of
Aurangzeb
translated 52 volumes of Upanishads from Sanskrit to Persian, "
Sirr-e-Akbar
"( The Greatest Secret), though
Akbar
got Hindu texts translated, Dara learnt the language and translated them himself with help of
pandits
. He concluded that the "hidden book" mentioned in the
Quran
was none other than the
Upanishads
. Dara was put to death by
Aurangzeb
after being paraded on the streets on a filthy elephant.

By the way, I don't know why English media doesn't get their phonetics right...it is phonetically to be spelt as Daara not Dara and Daara adds to 9 the universal humanist which he was and Shukoh (34) which added to Daara would be 33, the vibration of peace and love, which he was but overpowered and killed by
OURANGGZEB
which adds to 35, the religious bigot and fanatic ruled by Saturn, nay Satan. ( he is wrongly spelt Aurangzeb...as that is phonetically wrongly spelt)....this is the problem with the English media..as they don't understand that Ram (goat) and RAAM (who they called Rama) are not one and the same.
Now that Daara is no more, at least let's have a road phonetically rightly named after him as
DAARA SHUKOH
.
