Me Too movement: YRF's Ashish Patil sent on administrative leave after sexual harassment allegations

Ever since the Me Too movement has taken its hold in India, a lot of big names from the film industry have come under the scanner. The latest name that has come into the light is that of Ashish Patil, the Talent and Business Head of YRF. Now, some stringent action has been taken against him.According to reports, activist Japleen Parischa shared screenshots of an account by an anonymous actress where Ashish allegedly took her on a drive and tried to kiss her. Patil has outright denied these allegations since then. But not taking any chances, YRF has sent the suspect on an administrative leave while these accusations are thoroughly investigated. The management has also asked the victim to come forward and share the account with their Internal Complaints Committee. The company also clarified that they are against sexual exploitation in any form and that the strictest action will be taken against culprits.
