Celebs at Blenders Pride Fashion Tour 2013 in Hyderabad

The much-awaited fashion event of the year, Blenders Pride Fashion Tour 2013, that took place in the city on October 26 and 27, saw the city’s who’s who in full attendance.

The two-day fashion extravaganza saw India’s leading designers Vikram Phadnis, JJ Valaya, Neeta Lulla and Gaviin Miguel showcase their stunning outfits to a select crowd, over the weekend. Day one kick-started with JJ Valaya showcasing his collection — a fusion of Indian and Spanish influences. Actress Chitrangda Singh, who looked sensuous in a pink gown, was the show stopper for the designer. Next was Vikram Phadnis. The outfits had a distinct traditional touch with hues of black, red and off-white. And walking the ramp in his ensemble as the showstopper was none other than Malaika Arora Khan, who looked stunning in a maroon lehenga choli.

Day two began with Gaviin Miguel showcasing a stunning collection that took inspiration from women who are resilient, yet gentle. The evening came to an end with Neeta Lulla’s show that was an ode to sensuality from the era gone by. Tollywood heartthrob Rana Daggubati, made a grand entry as the showstopper, in a linen suit inspired from the 30s. As he entered, Rana threw his cap in the air that had ladies break into whistles and giggles. Lakshmi Manchu and Namrata Shirodkar were spotted in the front row.
