Students of Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science showed their musical talent Raagam 2K13, in Indore

The students of Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science recently showed musical talent in an annual inter-branch singing competition Raagam 2K13, organised by their musical club Rhythm.

The event saw participants competing for the title of The Ultimate Singer. “Rhythm club has been organizing this competition every year and it’s always heartening to see the participants perform so well,” said Ashok Atulkar, faculty coordinator.

The participants presented songs of different genres, like sufi, rock, Bollywood and semi-classical. “This competition is a platform for us to promote our talent in singing,” said Zainab, a student. Songs like Paani Da Rang, Subhan Allah, Sun Raha Hai received a great response from the audience. Before the concert wrapped up, Sujoy Das from computer engineering branch and Sourabh Mundra from electrical engineering branch were awarded the first and second positions respectively.
