Evernote localizes payment options in India
NEW DELHI: Evernote the popular note-taking app has announced localized credit card payment and discounted pricing in the Indian market.
The localized credit card payment is presently available to VISA and MasterCard credit card users. The company will be rolling out other payment options in 2016 along with Evernote Business. The app is also offering some great introductory discounts on all Evernote subscription options.
Speaking about the same, Ken Inoue, general manager, APAC, said, “Evernote strives to provide the best productivity experience to our users, and will continue to introduce features that try to match user needs. However, we have been providing far from optimal payment methods, especially in international markets. We are now trying to optimize this for our focus countries and this is the first step in offering better options to our users in India. India is the fastest growing market for us in the world, and we are dedicated to make the entire Evernote experience as convenient as possible for our users here. We’re very excited to offer a localized payment option for VISA and MasterCard credit card holders, and will soon be extending other payment options to offer even more convenience”.
Evernote has 5 million registered users in India and 150 million registered users globally. The users can now purchase a yearly subscription of Rs 850 and Evernote Premuim at Rs 1,500.
