Advani among 9 to depose in Babri e-hearing

Nine people accused in the 1992 Babri mosque demolition case, including former deputy PM L K Advani, former UP CM Kalyan Singh, senior BJP politician M M Joshi and Ram Janmabhoomi Trust chairman Nritya Gopal Das will depose before a special CBI court in Lucknow through video-conferencing in a staggered schedule from Tuesday.

LUCKNOW: Nine people accused in the 1992 Babri mosque demolition case, including former deputy PM L K Advani, former UP CM Kalyan Singh, senior BJP politician M M Joshi and Ram Janmabhoomi Trust chairman Nritya Gopal Das will depose before a special CBI court in Lucknow through video-conferencing in a staggered schedule from Tuesday.
Besides senior BJP leaders, the others include Acharya Dharmendra Dev, R N Srivastava, Jai Bhagwan Goel, Amar Nath Goel and Sudhir Kakkad.

Advani is set to depose on June 30, Joshi on July 1, Kalyan Singh on July 2, Mahant Nritya Gopal Das on June 23, R N Srivastava on June 22, Jai Bhagwan Das on June 24, Amar Nath Goel on June 25, Sudhir Kakkad on June 26 and Acharya Dharmendra Dev on June 29.
