Television Ratings – Week 22

As per the Week 22 (May 24 – 30, 2015) ratings of Television Audience Measurement (TAM), Star Plus continues to rule the Hindi General Entertainment Channels (GECs), based on both household as well as individual data. While Colors retained the second position, ratings of Zee TV dropped down significantly during the week. Zee’s loss was SAB TV’s gain.
On the basis of viewership, Star Plus, Colors and SAB gained TRPs in both individual as well as household data.Star Plus continued to be the clear dominant with a rise in GRPs to 597 from 566 in Week 21. Colors at No. 2 spot saw its ratings increase to 468 GRPs, up from 440 GRPs the previous week.

During the week, SAB TV’s ratings rose phenomenally and the TV channel made its way to the third position with a total of 313 GRPs, up from 303 GRPs in Week 21.
On the other hand, Zee TV saw a marginal decline with a total of 312 GRPs, down from 319 GRPs in Week 21.
Life OK also saw a drop in viewership and thus, GRPs. The channel’s GRPs slipped down to 297 from 310 GRPs in Week 21.
Life OK was followed by Sony Entertainment Television (SET) and &TV with a record of 208 and 114 GRPs, respectively.
