When Manini De lost her wedding ring

Staying true to character takes a lot out of actors. In actress Manini De’s case, she almost lost her wedding ring in the bargain. Currently seen on Diya Aur Baati Hum, she briefly lost her ring while shooting for the show.As she plays an IPS officer, her character demanded that she not sport jewellery. Manini took off her ring, wrapped it in a paper napkin, near the table in her green room. On returning from the shoot, she saw that the napkin had vanished and presumed it must’ve been thrown out with the garbage.She reached the dump in time to fish out her ring. The napkin was burnt, but at least her ring was safe!
