Sambhavna Seth to play the antagonist in a historical show

After years of struggle to get a foothold in television soaps, Bhojpuri item-girl Sambhavna Seth has finally bagged her first TV show. She has been finalised to play the antagonist in Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s period drama 'Razia Sultan'. The actress has participated in several reality shows in the past.

She says, “It’s a wonderful feeling that I have finally bagged a television show after years of struggle.I have been offered shows in the past, but the characters were mainly positive and I wasn’t too keen on playing one. Hence, nothing would materialise and the struggle continued. Finally, the audience that has seen my thumkas will get to sample my acting.”
What’s interesting is that her dear friend Monica Bedi has been instrumental in helping her bag the part. Acknowledging the same, Sambhavana says, “I was going through a bad phase and she has been my rock. She always recommends my name everywhere. She is doing Bandhan with the same production house and suggested my name to them.”
