Revealed: How much is spent on the promo shoot of Kapil Sharma's new show

After successfully entertaining viewers for three years, Kapil Sharma and his 'Comedy Nights with Kapil team' recently bid an emotional farewell to the viewers. What followed next was a series of controversies. However, the ace comedian is now gearing up for his comeback with the old CNWK team on Sony Entertainment Television. Kapil along with Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar, Sumona and Kiku Sharda recently shot a promo for the new show. He was really excited for the new show. They were seen riding a helicopter which is hijacked by Navjot Singh Sidhu and they all land up on the set in an autorikshaw. According to an entertainment portal, Sony TV, who is bringing Kapil and the team back is leaving no stone unturned for the new show. The channel (Sony) who is below Colors, Star Plus and Zee TV on the TRP charts is banking on Kapil and gang. To encash the recall value, Sony TV is going all out with their PR campaign, stated the report. A source was quoted in the report that the channel has spent a whopping amount to shoot the entire promo. Approximately, around Rs 50 lakhs have been spent just for the promo.Will Kapil's comeback create the same old magic.
