Instead of greeting each other with ‘Namaste’ they would say ‘Jai Hind’ and Manish has no qualms admitting that every family member still adheres to this rule out of sheer respect for his grandfather.
A source informs, “This year, Manish’s relatives from his maternal family have arranged special flag hoisting ceremony in Delhi on the eve of Independence Day for his grandfather and the talented actor would be taking some time from his busy schedule to attend the celebration.”
Confirms Manish," Yes this year I'll be celebrating Independence Day in Delhi with my family, in memory of my respected Nanaji. We still wish each other by greeting ‘Jai Hind’ instead of ‘Namaste’. I'm really looking forward to this celebration."
