Kapil Sharma beats Salman Khan to become most loved TV character

There is no denying the fact that Kapil Sharma is the most loved comic actor and a recent survey has just proved this. The 'Comedy Nights with Kapil' host has topped the list of "Ormax Characters India Loves" for January 2016.

His popularity has even left behind Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who hosted Bigg Boss 9. According to an entertainment portal, Ormax Media had conducted a survey on popular Hindi TV characters (non-fiction) for the month of January this year.They asked viewers about their favourite TV stars. The survey included a sample size of 3500 across 14 cities in India. The report stated that Kapil is the most loved TV character in India followed by Salman Khan for 'BB9'. Winner of 'Bigg Boss 9', Prince Narula, came third. Sunil Grover aka Gutthi and 'BB9' contestant, Mandana Karimi got the fourth and fifth spot respectively.
