Aparna Dixit dives into 16-ft pool for a shot, but she can’t swim!

Actress Aparna Dixit, who plays the lead in Kalash – Ek Vishwaas, had to shoot for an underwater sequence for one of the episodes. What made the task tough for her was the fact that she is a non-swimmer.
Says Aparna, “I don’t know how to swim, and so, when they described the scene to me, I was a little apprehensive. I had to jump into a 16-foot pool.My team asked me to learn at least the basics of swimming in a day. But with my schedule, I didn’t even get an hour to train. On the day of the shoot, there were people on standby near the pool in case of emergency. I had to hold my breath and also give expressions. Though I was uncomfortable initially, I enjoyed shooting and seeing the high-end cameras function underwater.”
