'Gautamiputra Satakarni' started off with solid collections at the box office, releasing the day after Chiranjeevi's 'Khaidi No 150'. The movie turned out to become the actors 100th outing as a hero and is racing ahead with steady collections.

The movie, which has high-octane war sequences, directed by Jagarlamudi Krish, based on the life and victory of Satavahana king, Satakarni has raked over Rs 20 crore on the first day in the Telugu states.
