Venkat Prabhu finalises lead actor for his next

As we are probably aware, at the moment, Venkat Prabhu is busy completing the shoot of the sequel to Chennai 600028. But remember you read this first here: Venkat has finalised the lead actor of his next project, an entertainer, and it���s none other than Chandran, who made his debut in Prabusolomon���s Kayal.
A source close to the team says, ���Director Venkat Prabhu recently had a meeting with Chandran, and has finalised him for the film he will be helming after Chennai 600028.The team will officially announce this in sometime, once Venkat completes the project at hand.��� The source adds, ���Though he will be directing the film, the story and the screenplay of his next will be written by director M Rajesh of Siva Manasula Sakthi and Oru Kal Oru Kannadi fame. It will be a laugh riot, with an interesting storyline. Rest of the cast is yet to be finalised.���
