The 1990 Bollywood romantic musical drama film titled Aashiqui was a hugely successful film and the credit for its success goes to its beautiful melodies which have stood the test of time and still manage to be the balm of every lovelorn heart.

Recently the song has been reprised in the Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor starrer music video Dheere Dheere that has been directed by choreographer Ahmad Khan. The video features the ever-so-smiling Sonam Kapoor and the greek god of Bollywood Hrithik romancing each other with unspoken emotions delivered through loving glances and some sweet nothings.
