Jigariyaa’s trailer now impresses Rajkumar Hirani

After RohitShetty, another filmmaker to be impressed by the trailer of Jigariyaa featuring newcomers HarshvardhanDeo and Cherry Mardia, is RajkumarHirani.
His praise has boosted the confidence of director Raj Purohit and VinodBachchan (of Tanu Weds Manu fame), who’s producing the film in association with RajuChadha. Incidentally, Harshvardhan had met Hirani a year- and-a-half ago.Recalling the meeting, Hirani says, “We all know it’s difficult to get work in the industry and I suggested Harshvardhan to focus on his talent and he’d eventually get work. After that, he has always kept me updated. A few days ago, he came to me with his film’s trailer and when I saw it, I was glad.”

Hirani, who loved the trailer, adds, “I come from a small town and that’s the reason I can relate to Jigariyaa. I can sense the small city’s fragrance, which attracted me to it. After watching the trailer, I met Raj and Vinod. They have worked passionately on the movie. I’ve decided to see it when it’s ready and for now, I wish the entire team all the best.”
Jigariyaa, produced by Soundarya Productions and presented by Ponty Chadha’s Wave Cinemas, releases October 10.
