BT Exclusive: Riteish Deshmukh sporting long tresses in 'Banjo'
Riteish Deshmukh plays a street musician sporting long tresses in director Ravi Jadhav's musical 'Banjo', in which he pairs up with Nargis Fakhri. What's even more interesting is that this is the first time he is playing a full-fledged Maharashtrian character in a Hindi movie.
The film is about the banjo players from Maharashtra and how this art has been neglected despite numerous youngsters involved in it. Riteish plays the role of a banjo player while Nargis plays a DJ in the film. The film is Ravi's effort to put focus on this tradition so as to help it flourish.
