Only I can do it: John Abraham
He was the original villain on wheels of the Dhoom franchise and John Abraham admits that if the opportunity came, he’d love to be a part of the series again.
“For me it’s all about motorcycles,” says the actor. The self-confessed motorhead is planning a film on motorcycle racing. “I really want to do a racing film, specifically as a biker. Prod him on whether he will be acting in the film and he retorts with a laugh, “Yes, of course. Only I can do it. You can’t take the bike out of John or vice versa,” asserts the actor-producer.
The sports enthusiast, who owns a hockey team and has run the Mumbai Marathon, is also producing a film, 1911, inspired by the Kolkata football club Mohan Bagan’s century old historic win over an English football club.
The 41-year-old goes on to say that he has had his run with commercial Hindi cinema and now he wants to use his equity as an actor to make the kind of films he believes in and ensure that they reach out to a wider audience.
