I am allergic to the term female director: Reema Kagti

Reema Kagti claims that writing came to her compulsively and was always involved into creative writing. Reema objects to the term female director, but agrees to the changing trend in Bollywood when it comes to females taking the lead.
“I always loved writing and even from my college days I was involved in writing. I was a film buff and then I joined film club,” said Reema.
On being asked about female directors taking a lead in industry, Reema claimed that she doesn’t agree to the term female director. “I have an allergy to the term female director, we don’t ask men how they feel as a men director. However, I do feel the change and I feel that it’s just not the film industry, but any industry in India. There is emerging new demographic of women, who are independent out there,” concluded Reema.
