Kangana Ranaut at the music launch of 'Rajjo' in Mumbai

To assert the significance of music, the makers of 'Rajjo' started the launch of the soundtrack with performances by various artistes. Bela Shinde rendered tracks like 'Julmi' and 'Kaleja Haazir Hai' and lead actor Paras Arora danced to Mere Dil Ki Train.
Dressed in a kitschy t-shirt blouse and sari, Kangana Ranaut, who plays the protagonist — a nautch girl, recalled visiting places like Nagpada to understand how such women lead their lives. Music legend Khayyaam praised composer Uttam Singh’s creations saying, “It’s heartening to hear that someone is using instruments and putting extra effort in coming out with a new sound.” Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde, the chief guest, launched the music along with the cast and crew that included director Vishwas Patil and lyricists Dev Kohli and Sameer.
Rajjo, produced by Four Pillars Entertainment Pvt Ltd, releases November 15.
