Heres a filmmaker whos game for challenges of all kind. After designing the football match for his own production, Opentee Bioscope, directed by Chandrabindoo frontman Anindya Chattopadhyay, Shoojit Sircar has designed yet another football match for Parambrata Chatterjees directorial project, Lorai.
The film is about a football coach who is sent to a village to form a team with the locals after he is forced to quit the game because of injuries.

Shoojit, who is a well-known lover of the game, and plays para football, was approached by none other than Prosenjit Chatterjee the reel coach. Bumbada (Prosenjit), who knows Im a football fanatic, wanted me to be involved with his film, which is about the game. Because of several other commitments, I couldnt direct the football match. But I have helped Parambrata design the part, says Shoojit.
Parambrata, too, is happy to have received the inputs. Bumbada had told me about Shoojitdas involvement with football. I called him up and Im glad that he went the extra mile by not just giving me inputs, but also creating the video board. He is also likely to be present when we start shooting the match from April 10 at Barasat stadium, he says.
Shoojit, who shares as much love for football as for Tollywood, had also designed the action sequence for Aniruddha Roychowdhurys Buno Haansh with Dev. The climax scene was shot in Mumbai a few months back.
