The short film sheds light on the topic of discrimination women face at workplace due to their pregnancy.
The close to two and a half minute film is a conversation between Radhika’s character, Shaheen, and her boss. Her boss justifies the fact that Shaheen isn’t considered for a promotion despite her impressive performance at work, only for the fact that she is pregnant. The film ends with a simple and heartwarming twist.
Off late, Radhika has garnered appreciation for her acts in Bollywood films Hunterr and Badlapur, along with some regional ones too.

The character of her boss in The Calling is enacted by Shernaz Patel. She is known for her acts in films like Black, Guzaarish, Rockstar and Talaash.
