Lead India: Discussion board
Depression amongst youth
I don’t agree with Devang Nanavati’s comments on youth depression. It is because we don’t have strong education foundation which leads students to take this decision. Today education is "money driven" not based on "ethics and values of life". Mr Akhtar talked about the issue of economic development which is irrelevant to this.

- Patel
Youth in this country are not under depression but Nanavati’s comments were. The judge or the contestants should not comment in this manner as it reflects negative thinking and is discouraging.
- Anjan Kumar
Everyday there is news about children committing suicide because of academic and teen pressure. Year after year the syllabus keeps changing just to reduce the pressure of studies. Recently Supreme Court had issued orders to appoint counsellors in every school in Delhi. Given all these facts, how can we say that India is the happiest nation?

Lead a 'save the environment' drive
Our nature is being destroyed slowly. I started a mission with my family, friends and students to collect polythene and plastic waste and deposit the same to local municipal bodies. To my surprise my students offered to make paper bags during their vacations. They were all are determined to save our Mother Earth.

Started a book club
In my colony, I opened a library and organised a book club where people of all ages joined in and took part in the reading sessions. I felt proud to have brought a smile on everyone’s face.
